Retroactive Rate Increase for Supported Living, Group Training Home, Group Home, Companion Home, and Alternative Living Providers
Based on new instructions from the DSHS Secretary, the Legislature approved a 2.2% rate increase for DDCS (formerly DDA) community residential service providers. You received a 2.0% rate increase on July 1st. This rate increase will now be modified retroactively, effective July 1, 2025.
If you have already claimed payment for July, DDCS will complete a mass adjustment to reimburse you for the additional 0.2% on rates already claimed. You will not need to void and re-claim payment for those days.
If you have not yet claimed payment for July, you will be able to claim with accurate rates for July 1st onward by August 4th. Claims made by August 5 will be paid on August 8.
Supported Living, Group Training Home, and Group Home providers: You previously received an Exhibit C which included the 2.0% increase. You will now receive a new Exhibit C, reflecting the full 2.2% increase.
Please be sure to use the corrected Exhibit C when preparing your 2025 cost report. An updated Excel version of the Exhibit C will be available.
