Dear family member,
DSHS HCLA Developmental Disabilities Community Services is announcing openings for the second term of the Family Advisory Council as part of DDCS’s ongoing commitment to have those with lived experience guide the work of DDCS.
The Family Advisory Council collaborates with DDCS staff to ensure the programs, policies, and procedures of DDCS reflect the experiences, wisdom, and advocacy of family members of eligible clients. DDCS staff will also seek input from the Family Advisory Council to ensure robust, transparent, accessible communication with individuals and their families.
