New HELMS Database Launch and upcoming April 30 Deadline for Individual Providers
The Department of Health will launch its new credentialing system, HELMS, in April 2025. For those who have a deadline in April 2025 to become certified, it is important that you complete all necessary credentialing requirements by that date to avoid having to stop working.
As the new system is implemented, please anticipate possible delays in credentialing. Giving yourself plenty of time to complete your application and exams before the deadline is recommended.
