Join us for our Native American Heritage Month event on Nov. 1
We are excited to invite you to a hybrid event in honor of those with unique gifts - our tribal DSHS Developmental Disabilities Administration clients. Join us as we celebrate Native American Heritage Month. This event will offer in-person and virtual participation options, making it accessible to everyone.

Time: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Registration is required.
Location: DSHS Office Building 2 Auditorium 1115 Washington St. SE, Olympia
Event Highlights:
- A community resource fair showcasing support services for families.

A live dance performance by Wa He Lut Indian School students and opening remarks will begin at 12 p.m., followed by the film screening of “Fish War" at 1 p.m. A panel discussion highlighting powerful stories from Native American communities will take place immediately after the screening. Seating to the film screening is limited.
How to Register or RSVP:
Early registration is encouraged if you plan to attend in person or virtually to secure your spot, as spaces are limited.
Register for the in-person event at DSHS Native American Heritage Event/Film Screening IN-PERSON Registration. Once registered, you will receive a complimentary event ticket and parking pass.
Register for the event’s virtual film screening and panel discussion portion at DSHS Native American Heritage Film Screening VIRTUAL Registration. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link and event details.
