The WA Cares Fund helps Washington workers earn long-term care benefits. WA Cares will rely on qualified providers to offer a wide range of covered services and supports, including care in a residential setting. You can become a registered provider to increase your client base and join a growing, innovative care network. WA Cares benefits can support current and future residents including private pay residents and short-term referrals. WA Cares can also provide additional care for individuals during hospital discharge and planning.
WA Cares is accepting provider applications in all counties to prepare for statewide benefits launch on July 1, 2026. Providers can complete their application here.
To assist providers in the application process, WA Cares is offering informational sessions to offer tips for providers when completing the on-line application.
These hour-long sessions will provide a walkthrough of the application process and residential facility requirements including Adult Family Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, and Nursing Homes. They will also have opportunities for questions and connection. Click Here to Register for Individual Sessions.
WA Cares is excited to work and partner with you to provide Washingtonians with access to this first-in-the-nation program. For more information, visit the WA Cares website and Provider page.
