Dear Training Programs,
A new Fundamentals of Caregiving (FOC) “revision history” document is now available on our curriculum download page linked below.
https://www.dshs.wa.gov/altsa/training/dshs-curriculum-and-materials-available.
DSHS released the Fundamentals of Caregiving, 3rd Edition in December 2021. Small but important revisions were made in August of 2023 and again in October 2024 and this new revision history document lists all the changes.
The revision date is located on the back cover of the FOC textbook. The current edition is “Rev. 10/24”. If your book has an older revision date, please use the revision history document. The list below includes all of the changes made between the August 2023 version and the current October 2024 version.
