Dear Community Instructors,
This bulletin is to inform you that the Nurse Delegation Core for Nursing Assistants and Home Care Aides textbook has been revised. The new version, dated November 2023, is now available for download and order.
- Effective July 1, 2024, only the November 2023 version of the Nurse Delegation Core for Nursing Assistants and Home Care Aides textbook should be used.
- We recommend using the November 2023 version immediately. The July 2019 version can be used until June 30, 2024. Instructors using the July 2019 version, are still responsible for ensuring the updated training information is provided to learners.
- Translations in Arabic, Cambodian, Chinese, Korean, Laotian, Russian, Samoan, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Ukrainian will be available soon on the DSHS training website. If you need a translated version before it is available on the DSHS training website, please email TrainingApprovalTPC@dshs.wa.gov.
- June 30, 2024, is the sunset date for the July 2019 version of the Nurse Delegation Core for Nursing Assistants and Home Care Aides The July 2019 version will not be reprinted.
- DVDs are no longer part of the curriculum and are no longer available.
