Dear DSHS Approved Instructors,
We are excited to announce two webinars to connect with and update you on the following topics:
- Long-term care worker requirements now that our state’s public health emergency has ended. This includes detailed information about caregivers’ date of hire and how it impacts their training and deadlines that pertain to continuing education and certification.
- Brief overview of the new Fundamentals of Caregiving, 3rd edition, that was released in July
- Plans to update the DSHS Orientation and Safety Training materials in 2023.
There will be time for Q&A after each presentation where members of the training team will do our best to answer any questions you may have. At the conclusion of each webinar, you will be invited to participate in a poll to determine what webinar topics you want in the new year.
The two webinars (same agenda) will be on:
Wednesday, December 7, 2022, 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Click here to register
Tuesday, December 13, 2022, 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Click here to register
Thank you!
