VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) TRAINING

On June 7th from 8 am to 12 noon ODHH is conducting a training that includes a disaster exercise and are presently seeking volunteers to play the role of “victims” in this disaster drill exercise. The disaster drill exercise will be held on June 7th at the Thurston County Emergency Management Facility located at 9521 Tilley Road SW Bldg E, Olympia, WA  98512. We have approximately 25 Deaf/Hard of Hearing and hearing CERT participants in the training learning how to assist the community in emergency situations and it would be nice to have a variety of people volunteering to be “victims” during the disaster drill exercise.

If you are interested in participating in the disaster drill, please contact Steve Peck at email: steven.peck@dshs.wa.gov and provide your name and contact information. If you have questions, please contact Steve at the above mentioned email address or 360-339-7762 VP.  Thanks!
