The Aging and Long-Term Support Administration (ALTSA) is accepting applications for a unique program manager position. We are looking for a teammate to work on issues related to Limited English Proficiency, the American with Disabilities Act, voter registration assistance and other areas that will help ALTSA provide accessible services to Washingtonians. 

Position duties include: 

  • Train employees on Limited English Proficiency, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and Voter Registration Assistance Coordinators matters in the state.
  • Provide state-funded resources for assistive technology and coordinate with waiver program managers.
  • Manage the emergency preparedness plan and ensure continuity of services for clients and customers.
  • Update and maintain transportation policy and work closely with transportation brokers.
  • Work with programs to make sure forms are accessible and in languages that reflect our customers.
  • Work with vendors and contractors to ensure compliance of contract language and requirements for translations and interpreter services including telephonic services.
