To support the ongoing implementation of Engrossed Substitute Senate Bill (ESSB) 5814, we’ve published new and updated guidance to clarify the retail sales tax changes that took effect Oct. 1, 2025. This additional guidance was developed based on feedback and questions from taxpayers.
