On September 5, 2025 the Washington State Department of Health (department) filed proposed amendments to:
- WAC 246-290-990 for Water system evaluation and project review and approval fees.
- WAC 246-292-995 for Certified operator and public water system certification fees.
- WAC 246-294-070 for Operating permit fees.
The proposed amendments are intended to are intended to amend fees for all programs within the Office of Drinking Water to ensure program costs are adequately covered. These fees must be set at a level that covers the costs of administering each program or license.
The department invites you to comment on the proposal through October 21, 2025 at midnight. A public hearing will be held on October 21, 2025, beginning at 1:00 p.m. to give you an opportunity to provide oral comments to the department.
