CR-101 filed to consider requiring acute care and behavioral health facilities to report critical healthcare and readiness data to WA HEALTH (Washington's Healthcare and Emergency and Logistics Tracking Hub)

The Office of Healthcare Analytics, Readiness, and Preparedness officially filed a CR-101 with the Office of the Code Reviser on January 22, 2024 as WSR# 24-03-126. The office is considering amendments to Title 246 WAC.

Currently, WSR# 24-02-023 requires acute care facilities to report health system readiness data to the WA HEALTH system. The office is now considering standard rule making to require acute care facilities and behavioral health facilities to report health system readiness data to the WA HEALTH system.

Once the interested parties are identified, we intend to survey the interested parties followed by workshops.
