The Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission (commission) is accepting applications to fill three current and upcoming public member vacancies.
The commission is looking for public-spirited people willing to study the issues impacting pharmacy practice in Washington State and make decisions in the public’s best interest. The commission operates under a legislative mandate to protect the health and safety of the public and promote the welfare of the state by regulating the competency and quality of healthcare providers and healthcare entities under its authority.
The Governor’s Office, Department of Health, and commission seek diversity in commission members. We recognize the value variety brings in understanding and serving the people of Washington State. We want candidates with diverse backgrounds and those who provide geographic representation throughout the state.
To qualify for a position as a public member on the commission, an individual must:
- Be a resident of Washington State and
- Not be affiliated with any aspect of pharmacy.
