Join the Department of Health staff on Friday, February 25, 2022 12-1 p.m. (PST) for the Management of COVID-19 Vaccination of Pediatric Patients Webinar
Presented by William Porter, MD; Resident UW Dept of Pediatrics, Seattle Children’s Hospital. Dr. Porter has a specific interest in addressing disparities in access to mental health services and building capacity for communities to prevent youth mental health crises.
The webinar will cover:
- Overview of basic vaccination techniques for pediatric patients
- Discussion on stages of development and how to use this knowledge communicating with children to enhance a safe vaccination experience
- Communication with parents on COVID-19 vaccine
- COVID-19 pediatric vaccine updates
The webinar will be recorded and available for viewing after the live webinar. Continuing education credit will be available for nurses, medical assistants and pharmacists/pharmacy techs.
