Good morning.
At the May 7, 2021, Board of Massage (board) meeting, the board addressed the continued difficulties in obtaining hands on continuing education (CE) during the coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
The board reviewed policy number BOM 20-01.1, Continuing Education Requirements During the COVID-19 Response, and voted to extend the expiration date of the policy.
Policy number BOM 20-01.1 will remain in effect until June 30, 2021. Policy number BOM 20-01.2 will take effect July 1, 2021, and be in effect through December 31, 2021, or until the declared state of emergency issued under Proclamation 20-05 is rescinded, whichever is later. The policy will be re-evaluated at the November 2021 board meeting.
