COVID-19 Vaccination
We are currently in Phase 1B tier 1
As the Governor announced, the age threshold for Phase 1B-1 has changed from 70 years old to 65 years old. The current tier also includes people 50 and older who live in multigenerational households. This group specifically includes older adults or elders who cannot live independently and is being cared for by a relative, an in-home caregiver, or someone who works outside the home. This group also specifically includes an older adult or elder who is living with and taking care of kinship. Details can be found in the Vaccine Prioritization Guidance summary. Also, anyone who was eligible in Phase 1A can still get vaccinated.
In an effort to speed up vaccination rates, providers will be allowed some flexibility for Phase 1B tier 2 through tier 4 eligible individuals to allow for easier administration of the vaccine in congregate settings and workplaces. If providers are combining tiers, please do so in a way that promotes equity and continues to promote those at higher risk first. Additional guidance can be referenced in the Vaccine Prioritization Guidance summary. Providers are now required to administer 95% of vaccine allocations within a week of receipt, and submit vaccine data to the state within 24 hours of administration. Details can be found in the Governor's announcement and DOH's media release.

As of today, vaccine administration data is now available on our Data Dashboard. Under the Vaccinations tab, you can view the number of doses given in each county and statewide in a map view or by date, as well as the population percentage and number of people who have received does. |
