Attend CLEAResult office hours

CLEAResult Office Hours are optional drop-in sessions where QCN-approved contractors can ask questions about the Home Energy Rebates program, including eligibility, rebate amounts, processes, and contractor requirements. If you're interested in attending a session, please contact a CLEAResult representative at WAenergyrebates@clearesult.com.

Please only share this information with QCN-approved contractors. If you know contractors who are interested in joining the QCN and would like to ask questions in an informal setting, Commerce suggests attending one of the Commerce QCN Application Help Hours, scheduled on the second Tuesday of every month from 12 -12:30 p.m. Contractors can also submit questions via the QCN Contractor Support Form.

Contractor onboarding and training updates

CLEAResult is offering additional training dates for the Home Energy Rebates program overview and the HARP-specific program overview. The HOMES-specific program overview will be announced soon. CLEAResult is working to finalize those materials and schedule HOMES training.

In the meantime, you are welcome to attend the Home Energy Rebates program overview or the HARP-specific program overview. Commerce is still waiting for final approval from the U.S. Department of Energy to launch these programs in Washington. We will share more information as soon as it becomes available.

New certification requirements for air sealers and insulators

Be on the lookout for an email if you intend to do air sealing or insulation work as part of the QCN. As a reminder, the following are acceptable certifications for insulation and air sealing work:
