Upcoming CRP grant will support organizations helping people with homeownership
On January 28, Commerce will release a funding opportunity for organizations supporting historically excluded communities with homeownership. The goal is to help people buy homes and build generational wealth. Organizations, lenders and tribes are eligible for this funding.
Funding may support:
- Land acquisition loan programs
- Capacity building for emerging community-based housing organizations
- Culturally responsive financial coaching
- Flexible mortgage products that help buyers become mortgage-ready faster
- Foreclosure remediation for people who own and live in their home
- And more

 Local Workforce Development Council are helping people and small businesses!
CRP is currently investing $14.5 million into workforce development through a partnership with the Employment Security Department and your local Workforce Development Council! The funding is focused on expanding career and business support for people across the state. This includes:
- Incentives up to $1,000/month for people working toward better jobs
- Folks who are underemployed or justice-involved are also eligible!
- Matched savings accounts (with up to $10,000 in match dollars) for education, housing and starting or expanding a business
- Financial coaching, career navigation and paid work experience
- Business support, business grants, and wraparound services delivered by local workforce board
