Apply now: $30 million in State HEAR program funding open through Feb. 5
$30 million available for high-efficiency electric equipment, appliance and heat pump rebates
Approximately $30,100,000 in Climate Commitment Act funding is available for third-party program administrators to provide rebates to low- and moderate-income households, small businesses, and adult family homes to install high-efficiency electric equipment, appliances and heat pumps.
Commerce opened a Request for Applications (RFA) for the State Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR) Program on October 30, 2025.
Eligible RFA applicants include local governments, Washington state agencies, tribal governments, housing authorities, retail electric utilities, community action agencies, and nonprofit organizations.
Commerce will accept applications through February 5, 2026, at 4 p.m.
Eligible applicants can attend a virtual bidder’s conference on November 12, 2025, at 12 p.m.
