Download the new contractor requirements and program guide
Thanks to those of you who have provided feedback on the QCN since the soft launch. We've used your feedback to create a QCN Contractor Requirements document and QCN Program Guide.
The new program guide outlines the contractor licenses, insurance and surety bond requirements. It also provides more clarity about the application process. We included general construction contractors, subcontracting guidance, as well as listing all of the insurance and surety bond requirements for each trade.
We hope these new guides will streamline the application process. You can find them and other resources on the QCN webpage and in the QCN BOX folder.
We need your help: HVAC Installers, do you make Manual J calculations?
If you currently size heat pumps for residential homes using a Manual J load calculation, we’d love to hear what software you use. Please take this one-question poll to help inform our IRA rebate programs.
The QCN application soft launch continues
The QCN soft launch is underway, and contractors can now apply to join the Qualified Contractor Network. The application should only take a few minutes to complete. Be sure to review the QCN application resources so you have everything ready when you start the application.
The QCN will be recruiting contractors throughout the life of the program, but we want to make sure there are enough contractors across the state to do all the work when we launch later this year. Tell your friends and sign up today.
