Commerce unveils first fast EV charging station funded by Climate Commitment Act

WHAT: 

The Washington State Department of Commerce, Clean and Prosperous Institute, Seattle-based Electric Era, and local partners are celebrating the grand opening of the state’s first community-based electric vehicle fast-charging station funded by the Climate Commitment Act.

Located in Arlington, this project demonstrates how local collaboration and battery-integrated charging technology can speed up installation timelines, cut fuel costs, and increase EV charging reliability. Washington State Commerce Director Joe Nguyễn, representatives of program grantee Clean and Prosperous Institute, EV charging system provider Electric Era, and other local partners will speak.
