Last call for Washington EV Instant Rebates Program
Program funding expected to run out before end of October
The EV Instant Rebates program is coming to a close.
The program’s popularity has led to extremely high participation, leaving $4 million in available funding for rebates.
Eligible drivers can get up to $9,000 in instant rebates on the lease or $5,000 on the purchase of a new qualifying EV — plus up to $7,500 in federal incentives on certain vehicles. Even better, no additional paperwork is required, and the rebate happens at the car dealership.
How to participate
1. Check your eligibility: Individuals and households at up to 300% of the federal poverty level qualify for the rebate program. 2. Find a participating dealer: More than 300 dealers are participating in the program. 3. Fill out a customer eligibility form at the dealership: No pre-approval or mail-in forms are required.
How to make sure rebates are still available
-
Act now, before the program ends: Don’t wait! Funds are running out quickly, so we can’t guarantee your rebate.
-
Check the website: The website shows funding still available. If incentives are available on the website, you can still complete a lease or sale and receive an instant rebate.
