Support community-driven clean energy projects
Join us for a workshop to share your vision of a clean energy future
Commerce seeks to listen and learn from communities and tribes about their visions for a clean energy future. This fall, we invite you to participate in regional workshops to share your ideas and learn about upcoming opportunities like the potential launch of a Clean Energy Ambassadors program. Participants will learn about clean energy, share their communities’ strengths, and help inform funding opportunities for community-led clean energy.

The potential Clean Energy Ambassadors program would provide education, planning, technical assistance and community engagement throughout the state. If enacted, it would also offer funding to support these efforts and focus on expanding clean energy access for everyone, ensuring a just transition to a net-zero economy.
Commerce is pursuing multiple funding sources that could move the program forward in early 2025. Discussions at these community workshops will inform the future program.
