Funding opportunity
$20 million available to preserve affordable multifamily housing
Open to projects already in the Housing Trust Fund portfolio and in need of funding to extend useful life
The Washington State Department of Commerce is committed to building communities by preserving affordable multifamily housing throughout the state. $20 million in state funds is now available to projects already in the Housing Trust Fund portfolio and in need of funding to extend the useful life of the units.
These projects provide critical housing to some of Washington’s most vulnerable populations. Preservation of existing affordable housing is a critical part of our vision to make conditions for affordable housing residents in Washington state the best in the nation, and to address the affordable housing crisis and reduce homelessness in permanent and sustainable ways.
