Seeking public input on PRO Housing grant application

Public hearing Oct. 16 on Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing)

The Washington State Department of Commerce is applying to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) grant program. We are requesting $10 million over a six-year period to support cities and counties in building on their updated comprehensive plans, removing barriers to affordable housing, and advancing local development of housing for all income levels.

We are seeking public input on our grant application.

Public comment is open until Oct. 19. We host a public hearing Oct. 16 to present information and to hear from you. We encourage you to join the conversation.

Public hearing: Monday, Oct. 16 at 4 p.m.
