New face
Welcome, Community Safety's Kaitlin Jones!
What attracted you to Commerce? I have worked in the public service sector my whole career. I have a passion for serving others. I worked as a police officer in Helena, Montana, for the past 5 1/2 years. I am happy to step away from law enforcement and be able to provide support to help build safer communities and better relations with our communities, especially those that are underserved.
I am originally from the northeastern side of Washington state and am very happy to be back. I was particularly drawn to the Department of Commerce because of its reputation, especially on how the agency values people and their thoughts and experiences.

Want training certificate copies? They're as close as your fingertips
By SABRENA NEFF Training manager
In this age of almost everything being electronic and online, The Learning Center (TLC) also makes it easy to get to all your training certificates from the comfort of your work computer.
On your transcript, which can be accessed from the TLC homepage, a little known certificate icon hangs out just to the left of each of the classes you have taken in TLC (see image). If you need a copy of any of your training certificates, it's quick to either save it as a pdf to your computer or print a hard copy.
You can also upload certificates using self-reported training for any classes you've taken outside TLC. You can see how here.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
