The Internet for All Washington: Kick-off Event is an informational webinar aimed at sharing information on the federal Internet for All programs. These programs have created the opportunity for our state to apply for a portion of over $42 billion in grants for broadband infrastructure advancement and $2.75 billion for digital equity initiatives.
Learn about our planning process
These billions in federal funds have jumpstarted the planning processes for the Washington State Broadband Office’s Five-Year Action Plan for Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) and Digital Equity (DE). These plans will help the state apply for funding to deliver high-speed internet to all communities, along with providing people with the resources and skills development necessary to participate in the digital world.
As a valued community organization, we kindly hope that you will participate in this exciting opportunity for Washington state.
Why should you participate
Through this process we will strive to establish partnerships across the state and, subsequently, to incorporate the diverse voices of our communities in our plans. Our state's share of billions of dollars is at stake.
We hope that after the kick-off event, you will leave with an understanding of what the BEAD and DE Plans mean for the State of Washington. We also hope to familiarize you with the project schedule and ways to stay involved.
