Public Service Recognition Week

Mariners to host State Employees Night baseball game

Editor's note: Every year in early May, the state hosts Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW) to recognize public servants for the important work we do. Commerce also hosts activities to celebrate our team members. PSRW will be held May 7-13 this year.

As part of Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW), the Seattle Mariners will host Washington State Employees Night beginning at 6:40 p.m. Saturday, May 6, according to the Office of Financial Management. Ticket prices for the Houston Astros versus Seattle Mariners baseball game will cost state employees $32 (main level) and $16 (view level).

“Join us at the ballpark for a celebration of Washington State Employees Night!" the Mariners wrote. “We are proud to recognize the work you do to make our communities stronger across the Pacific Northwest.

You are invited to “Take advantage of specially priced tickets and bring your coworkers, friends and family out to T-Mobile Park for a great night of baseball," the Mariners announcement continued.

To buy tickets or for more information, you can call (206) 346-4504 or visit mariners.com/wastate
