The Dec. 15 discussion follows a conversation that took place Nov. 17 about public participation, identification of vulnerable populations and highly-impacted communities, and equity indicators.

The first CEIP discussion on Oct. 28 focused on the clean energy targets and actions set under subsections one through three under WAC 194-40-200.

Recordings of these discussions and meeting materials are available on the CETA Compliance and Reporting webpage.

Background

The CEIP is the first planning document submitted to Commerce under the requirements of the state Clean Energy Transformation Act (CETA). these plans document how utilities intend to comply with CETA’s clean energy and equity requirements over the next four years and make progress towards  achieving state standards to be greenhouse gas neutral by 2020 and greenhouse gas free by 2045.
