RFP: Office of Firearm Safety and Violence Prevention
Seeking proposals for planning teams to improve systems to enforce firearms prohibitions
The Washington State Office of Firearm Safety and Violence Prevention (OFSVP) is soliciting proposals from community-based non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations, courts, or other local or tribal government agencies to convene multi-disciplinary planning teams to design improved, regional or county-wide systems to issue, serve, and enforce firearms prohibitions. These include civil protection orders and orders to surrender and prohibit weapons. OFSVP intends to award up to four contracts across the state to undertake the projects described in the solicitation.
