The 2023-25 funding round closes June 23

The 2023-25 Building for the Arts (BFA) grant application is now open. These grants fund 33% of eligible capital costs up to $2 million for acquisition and major new construction of arts or cultural facilities.

The ZoomGrants application and supporting materials are available on the Building for the Arts webpage.

  • Applications due: 5 p.m. Thursday, June 23

Virtual workshop: May 25

Join Commerce staff for a free application workshop on Zoom to answer any questions. This workshop is not mandatory. If you are unable to attend, we would be happy to reach out to you one-on-one.

ZoomGrants tips

  • If you have a ZoomGrants account, log in and follow the instructions.
  • New users should complete the required information for a new account to create a profile.
  • Please do not use “The” as the first word in the agency name.
  • Once the agency profile is created, select the BFA Grant, and select the “Apply” button to start your proposal.
  • Answers are automatically saved after each response.
  • All applications must be submitted electronically through ZoomGrants.
  • Hardcopies are not accepted.
