Information Services to distribute docking stations to folks with new laptops

Not all are here yet, and you'll need to bring
in your new machine when yours arrives

A couple months ago, about 180 team members received new laptops as part of our every-other-year PC lifecycle replacement effort. However, the pandemic wreaking havoc on supply chains means that docking stations (pictured) weren't yet available for most of those new machines.

We are starting to receive those docking stations. If you are among those who need one, Information Services (IS) will contact you to schedule a meeting to receive your docking station. You'll need to bring your laptop into a Commerce worksite, so IS team members can ready it for the new dock.

and learns are coming 

Join us today for the first of three lunch and learns to celebrate Financial Literacy Month in April. In today's session, Mele Miller (pictured), chief operating officer at Seattle Credit Union, will discuss financial equity and offer tips for securing your financial power and opening doors for others.

Real Talk discussed CSHD becoming two divisions: CSD and HD

With the historic level of new funding — about $2 billion — coming to Commerce, we intend to create two divisions from our existing Community Services and Housing Division (CSHD). Effective May 1, CSHD will become the Housing Division (HD) and the Community Services Division (CSD).
