New Coronavirus Relief Fund includes $510 million for Washington state emergency rental assistance

The new federal relief dollars for Washington state will be administered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Commerce is reviewing the federal COVID-19 relief bill in order to develop program guidance with the goal to launch the grants no later than March 1. Join the weekly Commerce Rent Assistance Program calls to keep up with the latest developments.

 

2021 Point in Time Count

The 2021 annual Point in Time (PIT) count of people experiencing homelessness in Washington state will be on the night of Thursday, Jan. 28. This year we will be conducting the sheltered count only. There will be no statewide unsheltered count.
