Black Lives Matter

The Office of Family and Adult Homelessness stands in solidarity with our grantees and stakeholders in affirming that Black Lives Matter. We unequivocally condemn the institutional policies and cultural norms that allow white people to surveil, discriminate and enact violence against Black, Indigenous and People of Color. These policies and norms must end.

We pledge to continue our efforts to dismantle the system of white supremacy and its reliance on classism, sexism, heterosexism and ableism that further inequities and cause homelessness. We invite partnership and accountability.
