Applications open for Building for the Arts Grant
For 2021-2023 session
The Department of Commerce today announces the opening of applications for Building for the Arts (BFA) Grant for the 2021-2023 session.
These grants fund as much as 33% of eligible capital costs up to $2 million for performing arts, art museum, and cultural organizations. The program makes awards for acquisition, construction, and/or major renovation of facilities.
All applications must be submitted electronically through ZoomGrants. Hardcopies are not accepted. Applications are due to Commerce at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2020.
Please use this link to go to the ZoomGrants website. If you have a ZoomGrants account, log in and follow the instructions. If you are a new user, complete the required information for a new ZoomGrants account to create a profile.
Please do not use “The” as the first word in the agency name. Once you have created an agency profile, select the BFA Grant, click the “Apply” button and start your proposal. Answers are automatically saved after each response.
A free BFA Application Workshop is also available to meet with staff and help answer any and all of your questions.
