State Public Works Board schedules free training
Four free trainings offered in locations across the state to assist public infrastructure system managers.
OLYMPIA, Wash. –The Washington State Public Works Board is presenting four free trainings, one per month, at locations across the state between March and June. These events offer targeted training in public infrastructure system management.
Sessions allow opportunities for discussion of best practices and experiences among jurisdictions, and provide information and contact information for funding and technical assistance. These events present an opportunity for participants to interact with the state’s infrastructure system improvement team, known as Sync.
Additionally, two of the trainings will be two-day events, with the second day focused on community partnerships, economic development and community revitalization.
Event locations and dates are:
March 25 – Ellensburg, Kittitas Valley Event Center
April 7 & 8 – Auburn, Green River College
May 13 – Long Beach, Adrift Hotel
June 9 & 10 – Spokane, Spokane Community College
Registration is free, and the events are open to the public. Water and wastewater operator Continuing Education Units are offered.
