Statewide economic factors across regions and sectors featured at ESD Symposium April 1

Join economic and workforce development leaders from across the state on April 1 at the 2019 Economic Symposium hosted by the Washington Employment Security Department’s Labor Market and Economic Analysis division in Seattle. Among the featured speakers are Commerce Director Lisa Brown and Sector Lead and Director of Life Science and Global Health Development Julia Terlinchamp.

Brown will participate on a keynote panel exploring key statewide economic factors across geographies and sectors - how they affect us and how we need to address them. The panel will be moderated by Emory Thomas Jr. - Vice President, Markets, (American City Business Journals); other panelists are Jordan Matson – General Manager (Matson Fruit Company), Susan Mullaney - President (Kaiser Permanente Washington) and Skylar Olsen - Director, Economic Research & Outreach (Zillow).

Terlinchamp will join Carl Adrian - President and CEO of TriCities Economic Development, Alisha Benson – Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer of Greater Spokane, Inc., and Brian McGowan - CEO of Greater Seattle Partners, for a panel on reimagining regional economies, moderated by Steven Ross – Director, Labor Market Information at ESD.
