MEDIA ADVISORY: Washington Maritime Blue rollout event with Gov. Inslee at Bell Harbor Conference Center, Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019

WHO:      Maritime Innovation Advisory Council co-chairs Rep. Gael Tarleton, Dennis McLerran of   Cascadia Law Group, and Frank Foti, CEO of Vigor Industrial.

WHAT:    Special event to present the Washington Maritime Blue Strategy for a sustainable maritime industry and final report to Gov. Jay Inslee.

WHEN:    Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, 8:30 a.m. – 12 noon

WHERE:  Bell Harbor Conference Center, Pier 66, Seattle

DETAILS:
As a leader in sustainable maritime practices, the state of Washington is the first to implement a comprehensive strategy for developing maritime business, technology and practices that promote a growing economy, healthy ecosystems and resilient communities. This event features the formal roll-out of the plan, discussion with Gov. Inslee, and presentations by Maritime Innovation Advisory Council Co-chairs and leaders of current active demonstration projects.
