The form has been revised and improved, in collaboration between private sector vocational partners and L&I staff. Please consider updating your firm’s template to align with the changes, if not using our suggested format.
Updates to the job analysis form include:
Accessibility and design improvements.
The ability to enter an address when you conduct the onsite analysis.
Modification of the signature choices to clarify the type of provider who would be making return-to-work decisions.
Recommended approaches to developing a JA:
Gather necessary information through your collection of data at the job site.
Collaborate with the employer and worker. The employer's review is valuable to ensure accuracy and to address any differences.
Make appropriate attempts to involve the employer while prioritizing that doing so does not result in unnecessary delays. Getting the JA to the claim file quickly supports timely decisions and reduces confusion.
