Requirements of decertified self-insured employer groups and municipalities
The Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) filed a CR-103 adopting rules under Chapter 296-15 WAC, Workers' compensation self-insurance rules and regulations, with the Office of the Code Reviser.
The rulemaking amended existing sections in rule and created a new section. The rules outline the continuing obligations of decertified self-insured municipal and group employers and the methods of how they shall meet financial obligations.
Adoption Date
The rules were adopted on July 14, 2026, and are effective date on August 15, 2026.
