Effective July 1: Skill Enhancement Training - Basic Computer Literacy

Effective July 1, 2025, Skill Enhancement Training (SET) courses will expand to include basic computer literacy training.

We plan to expand SET to additional types of courses on Oct. 1, 2025.

What’s included in the basic computer literacy course:

  • Entry level and introductory computer courses such as becoming familiar with a computer, keyboarding, using email, navigating the internet, foundational software training, and creating documents and presentations.
  • Courses that meet prerequisite requirements for most upper-level computer classes.

Please note basic computer literacy does not include:

  • Voice-activated software and/or training
  • Stand-alone tutoring

Please visit the Skill Enhancement Training webpage for complete information about the courses currently available.

Additional details about the SET Phase II expansion, including upcoming webinar opportunities, will be announced by the Oct. 1 launch date.
