Carpal Tunnel Syndrome resource available for public comment

Labor & Industries has an updated conservative care resource for Work-Related Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. It is now open for public comment through Friday, March 15, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. The draft resource is available on our website. 

L&I developed this resource in conjunction with the Industrial Insurance Chiropractic Advisory Committee as an evidence-informed best practice standard for diagnosis, treatment, and management of work-related carpal tunnel syndrome. Attending providers overseeing recovery, concurrent care providers providing treatment, and patients looking to understand their condition can all utilize this resource to guide clinical decision-making. 

A presentation of the draft of the Work-Related Carpal Tunnel Syndrome conservative care resource will occur in an open public meeting with the Industrial Insurance Chiropractic Advisory Committee on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Details available here. The Department will share its response to public comments at this meeting, and public testimony may occur at this time.
