Independent Medical Exam (IME) Q&A

The Washington Administrative Code (WAC) rules that set guidelines for independent medical examinations (IME) became effective on April 23, 2022. The L&I Self-Insurance training unit has conducted a number of presentations on the rules since that date and has compiled a list of the most common questions posed and answers given during those sessions.
