L&I Workshops - Report of Accident and ICD-10 Diagnostic Code
The Department of Labor & Industries is offering statewide workshops for health care providers or their staff to learn more about filing a workers’ compensation accidents report for injured workers. L&I offers these free workshops beginning July 9, until October 9, 2019.
The two-hour presentation will cover:
The Report of Accident (ROA)
- Required accident report information for claim allowance
- The difference between an injury and occupational disease
- Methods to file the ROA (paper, online, or data exchange)
- Review of tools for providers, including online claim file access and provider resources
Learn best practices for ICD-10 Diagnostic Codes
- Tips on ICD-10 diagnostic codes
- Discover L&I’s certified coders and how they are available to answer your ICD-10 questions
Who should attend a workshop?
Providers, medical assistants, office managers, billing and coding staff.
