Building problems caused by weather force closure of Washington Department of Labor & Industries Thurston County offices on Monday, Feb. 11
All state Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) Thurston County facilities will be closed on Monday, Feb. 11 because of unsafe conditions including ice and snow in the parking areas, elevator failures and malfunctioning lighting in stairwells.
The office buildings will be closed the entire day to employees and customers.
The agency is monitoring conditions closely, and will make a decision on Tuesday’s schedule late Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning.
Customers should monitor the L&I website (www.lni.wa.gov) for the latest information. L&I’s Tumwater staff should call the Tumwater building information line for updates.
