Help prevent the spread of chronic wasting disease
As you plan your hunts for 2025, please take into consideration that WDFW has confirmed chronic wasting disease (CWD) in our state. That means there are new rules related to preventing the spread of the disease. There is extensive information on CWD on the WDFW website, including how the disease spreads, how to have animals tested for it, what areas have mandatory testing, what parts of harvested animals can be transported, and much more. We appreciate your help to prevent the spread of this potentially devastating wildlife disease.
