Supplier diversity and statewide contracts
How do I find small, certified veteran or OMWBE-certified vendors on statewide contracts?
When you need to buy goods or services for your agency, your first stop should be our statewide contracts, which leverage the state’s buying power to secure competitive prices. Our statewide contracts also help you follow state contracting laws and rules, including the new enterprise supplier diversity policy.
All DES statewide contracts note the availability of small, veteran or OMWBE-certified businesses.
Some of our statewide contracts are awarded to large manufacturers, such as those for office furniture or computer equipment. Some manufacturers have agreements with local fulfillment partners who may be small, veteran or OMWBE-certified businesses. If you see a link to view fulfillment partners on a contract summary page, you can view any small, veteran or OMWBE-certified fulfillment partners to purchase from directly.
If you are having trouble finding a small, veteran or certified business, you can reach out to the contract specialist listed on the contract.
