UPDATE: IT PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
DES plans fall release of new ITPS solicitations
The Department of Enterprise Services (DES) is moving from a two-tier contracting method for IT professional services (ITPS) to a multiple-award structure.
DES will post solicitation opportunities for three new ITPS contracts this fall, with a goal of making the contracts available in 2023.
DES has compiled feedback from its Request For Information (RFI) and is working with stakeholders to finalize requirements and qualifications. DES anticipates releasing the solicitations on the following schedule:
-
IT Project Management: October 2022
-
Information and Cybersecurity Services: November 2022
-
IT Development: November 2022
Under the new contracts, purchasers will no longer be required to perform competitive solicitations and will be able to select vendors directly from multiple awardees in each new category. DES will recommend purchasers request a minimum of three quotes from vendors, with at least one from a small, diverse, or veteran-owned business.
The new contracts will replace current ITPS Contract 08215. Once each new solicitation is released, vendors will no longer be able to join the current contract in that category.
