New search feature coming to WEBS on March 31
In addition to being able to search current opportunities in Washington’s Electronic Business Solution (WEBS), all registered vendors will be able to search past opportunities starting March 31. All information, including documents available at the time of posting, will be visible.
This request came from the Department of Enterprise Services’ (DES) Business Diversity Advisory Group (BDAG). BDAG advises DES on ways to help small, and minority-, women-, and veteran-owned businesses have equal access to state government procurement opportunities, a priority for DES and the State. BDAG provides guidance, recommendations, and feedback about barriers to equity in state contracting.
How to search for past opportunities
1. Log in to your WEBS account. 2. Click on “Search Opportunities” and then click “Advanced Search.”
3. Enter any search fields you’d like. You can search by Organization Name, Solicitation Keyword(s), County, Solicitation Status (Posted or Archived), Date Range, and Solicitation Type. You can also filter by your account’s commodity code(s) or enter commodity keywords.
4. Click “Search.”
5. Results matching your search criteria will appear. Click on the title of any solicitation to see more information, including any attachments that were uploaded during the time the solicitation was posted.
This information will be added to the user guide available to vendors inside your WEBS account.
